Deactivate a User in 8x8 Admin Console

Objective

Deactivate a user in Admin Console.

Applies To

  • Admin Console

Procedure

  1. Log in to 8x8 Admin Console.
  2. Select Users.
  3. Search for the user you wish to deactivate.
  4. Select the 3 dots on the right-hand side of the user's details.
  5. Select Deactivate user.

  1. To confirm the change, select Continue in the confirmation pop-up window.

Note: If a user is deactivated, you will not be able to adjust the configuration settings, such as call forwarding. Your options would be to reactivate the user or delete the user.
