Assign or Unassign Numbers from 8x8 Contact Center
Objective
Move an 8x8 Work number to 8x8 Contact Center or
vice versa.

Procedure
Assign a Number
Navigate
to 8x8 Contact Center > Channels.
Search for
the phone number.
Check the
box next to the phone number.
Select Assign
to Contact Center.
A green
banner will display at the top of the page to confirm the phone
number has been assigned to 8x8 Contact Center.
Unassign A Number
Navigate
to 8x8 Contact Center > Channels.
Search for
the phone number.
Check the
box next to the phone number.
Select Unassign.
A green
banner will display at the top of the page to confirm the phone
number has been unassigned from 8x8 Contact Center.
