Record Calls Selectively with 8x8 Work for Desktop

Objective

Enable a user to record calls selectively in 8x8 Work for Desktop.

Applies To

  • 8x8 Admin Console
  • 8x8 Work for Desktop
  • Call Recording

Procedure

  1. Log in to 8x8 Admin Console.
  2. Select Users.
  3. To the right of the user for whom you want to enable selective call recording, select Edit (pencil icon).
  4. Go to Call Recording Settings.
  5. Select Allow user to record calls selectively.

  1. Select Save. Once enabled, the user should be able to start and stop recording in 8x8 Work for Desktop.
